Furthermore, Oribe grew up with his other three siblings while he was the oldest. Their family was poor as their father barely made more from a metal rod factory.
Furthermore, Peralta spent his childhood days at Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, and had his dream to play football ever since his early days.
Not to mention, Peralta is a good saxophone player; however, his passion for football was never-ending. Hence, he started towards it, although he could not start right in an organized team or club.
Oribe Peralta | Amateur Career
Following it, his foremost organized team came at the age of 13 in Los Vagos. During his high school years in 1998, he also played for La Partida against the other Municipalities in Torreon.
In the meantime, his father also supported his dream, and for the training, Peralta used to do it around the parking lots of La Partida.
As a boy with aspiring dreams, he had promised his father to make it till the World Cup of Brazil while he advanced to join CESIFUT (Synergy Center of Football) located in Lerdo, Durango.
Back then, he had completed his elementary school and was in high school, and his mother did not want him to quit his studies.
Likewise, in the friendly match with CESIFUT, he had scored two goals; however, he ended with a broken tibia and fibula due to which he couldn’t claim the football pitch for a year.
That very incident left him immobile for a year, which came as his major challenge. However, after months and days of recuperation, he returned to the field.
Even with these, his journey was still long, due to which, at times, he thought of giving up and do something normal to earn for the family.
However, he was lucky enough to hear “No” from his father every time, who had managed to earn enough for the family so that Peralta could follow his dreams.
Consequently, with a trial and error series, he got into Alacranes de Durango, a professional team in the Liga Premier de México.
In the meantime, for his distinctive hairstyle, he was nicknamed “The Brush” and that every brush was able to attract the C.D. Guadalajara’s head coach, Oscar Ruggeri, towards him.

For the season of 2006, he dealt with the Santos Laguna, where he made his foremost appearance against his former club, Monterrey. By the end of the season, he had played 17 totals matches where he had 9 goals and 7 assists.

The whole league title was scored by Peralta for the club on December 14 against the Tigres UANL. He had the third and final score during the game in an aggregate score of 3-1.
Two years later, in the same Apertura tournament, Peralta recorded his first career hattrick on 23 July in a 3–1 victory over Toluca. Following it, at the Summer Olympics against Cruz Azul, he suffered an injury.
After his recovery, he stood as the team captain as Rubens Sambueza (Captain) and Moisés Muñoz (Vice-captain) left the club. Right then, he was also named the club’s top scorer with eight goals.
Additionally, he recorded his half-century on 15 September 2017 during a 1–1 draw match against Tijuana. Nearly a year later, on May 26, 2018, Peralta had his second Liga MX title against Cruz Azul with a 2–0 win at the Estadio Azteca.
In 2019, Peralta signed a permanent two-year contract with the Guadalaraja, extending to the third year. Hence, the club’s first win came on October 1 against the Correcaminos UAT as they won 2-0.
